DC Area Parents, Check Out This Website!

I just found this great website (well really, they found me and posted my Wilson Aquatic Center Super Post) – it’s called Go Out and Play – What to Do in Arlington and Beyond.  Now I have to admit it’s very rare that I make it to Virginia, but Go Out and Play covers things all over the DC area, including postings on what to do on the weekends, and fun activities during the week.  So even if you’re not in Arlington, check it out for great ideas of things to do with your toddler.  The mom who writes it has a 2 year old, which makes her ideas perfect for me and my little one. :)

Also of note, on the right hand side of Go Out and Play is a list of Local Blogs most of which seem to be kid oriented.  I’m planning to bookmark these and check them out – one of my new years resolutions was to get Cameron out and enjoying DC more – and I think these are great resources to help!

Local Resource – Clinton Hill Blog

Even before I became a mom I would read Clinton Hill Blog religiously.  Now I find it extra useful because they often talk about activities and places to eat that are kid friendly / kid centric in the Clinton Hill and Fort Greene area of Brooklyn.  Here’s the link to their topics tagged with KIDS – for quick reference.  Check it out – no blog is an island, and I certainly don’t know everything that’s going on in the neighborhood for kids!
